In January, the Rebel Salute music festival brings reggae royalty to Ocho Rios for live music, food, and art. Past headliners for the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, held annually in Montego Bay, have included Gladys Knight, Celine Dion, John Legend, and Air Supply.

Negril’s Reggae Marathon is rated as one of the best marathon experiences in the world – undoubtedly for the good vibes, unbelievable views, and reggae music that can be heard all along the course. Runners from around the world return year after year to take part. For more adventure, Jake’s Off-Road Triathlon in Treasure Beach, is the world’s longest-running off-road event that leads participants on a 300m swim through the Caribbean Sea, followed by a 25K bike ride through the mountains, and a 7K trail run.
