Snorkeling and lunch on a private island
Start the day with a boat trip over to Booby Cay Island. On the way over, stop off for a swim and snorkeling. Captain Sydelle's favourite spot for snorkeling in Negril is Middle Shoal Reef. With wreckage including a cannon and old ship anchor, it's a great spot to see marine life including turtles, rays, and colourful tropical fish. Varying depths make it suitable for divers of different skill levels.
Climb back onboard as you continue your trip to the cay. You'll find all natural wooden huts on the beach, the perfect place to chill out and enjoy an early lunch of fresh seafood. When in season, lobster and conch are a must! Lay out on the beach for some sunbathing and bird watching. Say hello to the resident boobies on beach!
Explore a cliffside grotto
Joseph's Cave is truly a hidden gem in Negril - a remarkable underground cave opening out to the Caribbean sea. You can access it by boat and swim into the cave or by land down a small concrete staircase. There's a serene calm as the lapping of the waves echo against the walls of the limestone cave and the salty sea breeze fills the cavern.
