We invite Professional Canadian Travel Advisors, to apply for one of our up-coming Destination Orientation Familiarization Tours!

MEET-ME-IN-MOBAY

All our familiarization tours are “MEET ME IN MO BAY” activations, where each selected and confirmed participant, must independently book their own return airfare to Jamaica.
Upon return from Jamaica – within 60 days – Jamaica Tourist Board will provide an air credit refund in the amount of C$200 per participant.

SELECTION PROCESS & PROCEDURES

We sincerely thank all applicants for your interest in destination Jamaica! Regrettably, due to the volume of applications we typically receive, we are unable to provide individual responses to each application. Every application is however reviewed. Once you have been selected to attend one of our fams, we will send you a written conditional acceptance e-mail, offering you a spot on the fam rotation date you selected, or an alternative available date. It is important that we receive a response from you, acknowledging receipt of the conditional offer e-mail.

Once we send you this conditional acceptance offer, you have seven (7) calendar days to book your own airfare, fill out and submit the Personal Travel Details (PTD) form and provide us a copy of your ticket receipt. If we do not hear back from you or receive these documents by mid-day on the 7^th day after the offer was made, your spot is automatically forfeited and offered to someone else. We however appreciate the courtesy of hearing from you, whether you will be taking up the offer or not. We do understand that sometimes circumstances change between application and offer periods.

Once we receive your completed Personal Travel Details (PTD) form, your spot on the fam is fully confirmed. No further action is required of you.

In the period following, we will provide you updates on your itinerary and other fam trip logistics. You will always find the latest updated version of your itinerary on this web page.

RULES OF THE FAM

* Selected participants will book their own flights into Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (MBJ).
* Airport transfers from and return to Sangster International Airport (MBJ), are included in the fam spot confirmation.
* If flying into any other airport (KIN/OCJ), participants will need to make their own independent airport transfer arrangements to and from the host properties.
* Once advised of their selection on the fam, participants must book their flights within 7 calendar days and advise of their flight itinerary, in order to be fully confirmed on this fam.
* All selected participants must complete and submit the Personal Travel Details (PTD) Form, within 7 calendar days of being advised of a spot on this fam.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

* Fam selection is based on a composite of factors, not limited to the Travel Advisor Profile information but also including the specifications and requirements of the respective host properties.
* In the event of multiple applications from the same business unit or agency, priority will normally be given to the first qualified application received per business unit or agency.
* By applying for this educational trip, you are confirming that you understand this is a working familiarization trip. You further agree to fully participate in the prescribed itinerary.
* Accommodation will be single occupancy, unless otherwise stated
* Companions are not normally permitted on our familiarization tours
* Industry spouses/partners/companions are only permitted on our fam tours, if the fam is explicitly designated as a Companion Trip.
* Travel Advisors and their children – even if they are also travel advisors - are not permitted together on our familiarization trips
* Fam application opens: 60 days before departure date
* Fam application closes: 21 days before departure date
* Final itinerary provided: 07 days before fam departure date.
* Each participant is required to complete the fam survey on the last day of the fam
* Please read and be familiar with the fam guidelines.

Please note that there are always many more applicants than available spaces. Regrettably, we wont be able to accommodate all eminently qualified applicants on all of our fams this season.

You will not need to contact us to find out about your itinerary, as the latest updated versions are always posted on this website. You will be able to identify the latest edition by the version number. Just click on your fam rotation date and you will see the latest version of your itinerary. It will say working itinerary version #1; working itinerary version #2; working itinerary version # 3 etc; until the final itinerary is posted and provided via e-mail, a week before departure date.

PRE-ARRIVALS & POST-DEPARTURES

Confirmed participants arriving on dates before the official start date of the fam, must make their own independent transportation arrangements to get from the airport and to the first host resort on the official start date of the fam.

Confirmed participants departing on dates after the official end date of the fam, must make their own independent transportation arrangements to get back to the airport and from their last place of accommodation. They are however welcome to take the official fam airport transfer back to the airport with the rest of the group, on the last official day of the fam.

For Travel Advisors wishing to go in a day early or stay a day later, we have some negotiated special agent rates as below:
