Description
We will explore the western end of the island with its hidden caverns and waterfalls, lush rainforest and colourful coral reef system. Stroll through dense forest, portage rivers and creeks to swim remote waterfalls and hike the hills of a distant valley to discover hidden caves used to hide runaway slaves. Lunch with locals and learn a way of life rich in family, religion and nature. Did you know?

Public notice needed to travel: It was not easy to leave Jamaica in the early days not only because transportation was slow but because the law required that no one could leave the island without first publicly advertising his intentions three weeks in advance. This was mainly to protect creditors from people even captains of ships who refused to pay and then skipped the country.
