Description
We will explore the western end of the island with its hidden caverns and waterfalls, lush rainforest and colourful coral reef system. Stroll through dense forest, portage rivers and creeks to swim remote waterfalls and hike the hills of a distant valley to discover hidden caves used to hide runaway slaves. Lunch with locals and learn a way of life rich in family, religion and nature. Guides include Jamaican naturalists and researchers involved in preserving the islands, endangered ecosystems and marine communities.
